"I Moved On Into Uncharted Waters I Dig."
    ~ Charles Thompson (The Pixies)
"Gaffney has spent the years since making tons of interesting music away from the Sebadoh spotlight. Much of it can be heard and bought via three Bandcamp sites that Gaffney runs, all of which teem with sounds made in many different locales and time periods. It can be tough to sort out exactly what’s from where and when, but it doesn’t really matter—just dive in anywhere and you’ll find something worth listening to." ~ Marc Masters, Pitchfork
"What is central to this whole compilation is the overwhelming lo-fi quality to many of these recordings. In a world where technology allows almost anyone to record and release note perfect bedroom albums, it is refreshing to find someone who has stuck to his guns and continued the same aesthetic throughout his career."
~ Gary Thomson, The Skinny (UK)
“Shark Attack” is another quirky highlight, beginning with a sweet little riff and then Gaffney’s half-spoken, half-sung verse about rainy days and “letting go of relationships.” With its ample runtime and easy charms, Uncharted Waters provides a fine place for catching up with Gaffney."
~ Adam McKibbin, The Red Alert

'Revised (16 Songs) Version' of Uncharted Waters (2006)
= the follow up to Brilliant Concert Numbers CD, both of which are compilations of a 10 year period of song-writing & recording.

**Revised Version: I extracted the covers and removed 'cold weather/twilight' (sub pop singles club) which i had tacked on the CD
as opening tracks (but never belonged on the record)
27 songs was too much for most listeners i guess...

**This final version represents a 'period of time of songwriting/recording in San Francisco mostly 2004 to 2006

Originally Released: October 2006 Old Gold (Atlanta, GA.) Handmade Records (Oslo, Norway)

The 'original CD' is still available below 'Merch' which has 27 songs, many of which are not on the revised version* as an IMPORT (from Oslo, Norway)
